little tighter crop on the faces would be good.

I think they're fine ... I really like the BW conversion on the first one. Always good to get a tight crop on the faces but not necessary for every single shot. I would go tighter on the last photo, however. Lot of room at the top and the statue on the right is not an important enough element of the photo to worry about keeping.

The pic of the actual ceremony gets the most important part ... the face of the bride. As a paid shooter you could have shot from the aisle but in your position that was absolutely not an option.

deep greens and blues are the colors I choose ...

Quick thoughts:
Nice shots over all!

walking by the isle - I like the color version because it lends separation to their hair from the background, and the focus looks like it may not be on the father and bride (not bad, just a bit off)

Exchanging Vows: might have tried a couple of more shots, a couple of the expressions may have been better

I like the bride and father shot!

Keep shooting - looking good!

bannedPermanent ban

The first picture would have been great if you would have zoomed out with a 70-200 to blur out the backgroud all i keep thinking is a tree growing out her head.

Photographs:

#1 Oversharpened. Would like to see less in the background(wider aperture). The background is very chaotic and busy.

#2 Same as ^

#3 Very flat. Unflattering light. Her face doesn't help the photograph nor does the crop. I like the dress etc, but it doesn't mean your crop must be a full portrait. I'd like to perhaps see a perpendicular shot to the bride and groom as they face each other.

#4 About 1/3 Stop too dark. Other than that, I like your use of aperture & cropping. Very good example.

Keep up the progress!!

Thank you for your comments, just to point out i was a guest at this wedding, had never seen the venue before and did not want to move around during the ceremony.
