Excellent shots, David.
Well done for bringing something so special to the forum.

And...how on earth do they play it? I find it hard enough on two legs...

Well, I take my hat off to these chaps!

Regards,

Simon

Simon, it is so inspiring to see these guys play to such a high standard. I will never complain again when playing any sport. They just get on with it. I spent 5 days at TheOpen wheelchair tennis and I plan to go every year. I have put some more on my Flickr site. Link at the bottom. Do have a look. And thanks for your comments

Hi David,

Thanks for the response.

I'm both embarrassed and proud to say that for some reason, I always shed a tear-or-ten if I watch the para-Olympics.

Those people are SO inspiring to me....

Cheers mate.

Simon

Oh, and thanks for mentioning your link to Flickr :D

Thanks for sharing, those are great captures!

I have been considering approaching the Wheelchair Sports association here as another avenue to pursue. We all whine about (not) getting access to shoot sports but I think there are lots of opportunities being missed as well...

Joe, I agree. I encourage you to get in touch with your Wheelchair SPorts Association. As well as supporting these excellent programmes that they offer, you are faced with some challenges with the photography and that can only be beneficial for technique in all areas.
