Or have an 8Gb Sandisk Ultra II go faulty on you .. It can happen to any card (altho I haven't had a Lexar fail yet) ;)

Anything is possible, but, probability is higher with cheaper cards.

I picked up a Sandisk ultra 30mb 16GB card for now. I think in the future I will buy fast 8gb cards.

They are each 400x speed so they each work well in HD burst mode...

You'll soon fill that up on a days shooting raw.

I shoot raw +jpg with both the 5DII & 7D and can eat through most of 4 32gb cards during a full day of Wedding.

Don't know how this fair's with others. I usually put 900 raw's on a card and change.

Maybe one day I will get to where you are at but for now going to museums or parks or zoo with my kids I will only put around 300 raws on my card. Only been a few times I've actually needed anymore than 16gb.
