How to render 50fps to 25fps without looking blurry? [IMPORTANT]

Hey!

I got an important video to edit, but the person who shot the video shot in both 50fps and 25fps. The 50fps was shot because he wanted some slow motion shots, everytime I try and render it however it looks blurry.

Looked fine to me. Looked like someone was pulling focus a lot.

No it's not the focus, it's the fps problem. Does anybody know how to render 50fps as 25fps but keep the slow motion?

Which program are you using? It looks like it rendered correctly. Like everyone else said..it's the focus, not the fps or render.

Just make sure your at 50% speed(playback rate)

I'm using Sony Vegas, also the the fps is not how it should look. Honestly, I will render this using 50fps and show you the difference. The movement of the video is so much more blurry as appose to the second clip in the video which was at 25fps.

That will help. Would need to see 50fps vs 25fps render. It looked like my normal 60fps rendered at 24fps.

What are your project properties? 25p?
How did you slow down the clip?

There's two ways to slow a clip in Vegas.. You can either pull the end of the 'event' to shrink it or you can right click the event<properties<playback rate. The first way is the wrong way. You need to set the playback speed to .500. That way it will still play every frame as it was shot in 50p in a 25p project.
