New 17-40L arrived

I just got my new EF 17-40L lens and so far I really like it. I think it is the perfect complement to my 24-105L, as well as my 50 f/1.4 and 100 f/2.8 Macro.

Next I plan on selling my 70-300 f/4-5.6 (non-L) and eventually getting the 100-400L or similar Sigma (any thoughts on that?).

These I use on my 40D.

I thought you were using ff until I saw 40D on the last sentence, but yeah 100-400mm is great for wildlife, especially on your 40d

i just sold my 17-40, replaced with the Nikor 14-24. i tried the 100-400 one day, it's not my cup of tea.

don't you miss autofocus?
and isn't this plus adapter only for FF cameras?
