I am down to 2 tripods.

Dolica ZX600B103 (external link)
Carbon Fiber
48.5" high with center down
60" high with center extended
3.5lbs
Head: Ball head

Manfrotto MK294 (external link)
Aluminum
59.8" high with center down
70.1" high with center extended
5.6lbs
Head: 3 way

Which of these will be a better tripod? I like the height of the Manfrotto but like the carbon fiber and ball head of the Dolica. I could always get a 2nd head for the Manfrotto. What would you guys pick between these two?

What makes the 190 so different? The horizontal feature won't really do anything for me. Its a bit out of the price range that I am wanting to spend.

Its a model that is known to be a solid performer and has tons of positive reviews.
