Interesting turn this thread is taking, but hey, yes! :D

hehe.. well normlly the cameras, even the awesome 5D3 don't take photos without lenses, so it is normal to talk about good lens in this thread ;)

[QUOTE=ieatstars;15100021]Still a lot more than I paid for mine! I think I was an electronics re-seller in my past life. I've been doing pretty well with gear.. :)

Not bad if you paid less !!!

Agent Provocateur, Awesome shots. I love the tones.

+1 (though a bit late :) )

Great picture!
I love the way you have matched the color of the water and background with the dress. I see a bit of blue on the palm trunk on the right side. How did you PP the color? If you don't mind sharing that.

I have to admit you're one of the best portrait shooters I've seen when it comes to integrating the landscapes. If I ever got back into shooting weddings and portraits, it would be similar to your style. That's a really big IF though.

One thing that frustrates me a bit with the 5D3 is the lack of a pop-up flash. There have already been a few times when I wished I had the flash to use as fill lighting for basic snapshots. Also, I really liked the ability to be able to grab a Speedlight and place it on a nearby table/shelve for quick setup of off-camera flash around the house or at family gatherings. But now, without the pop-up flash, I have no way of triggering the off-camera flash.

What's the quickest, most simplistic solution to this dilemma?

Quickest, most simplistic solution would be a sync cord. A cheap radio trigger would also do the trick.

I use Cactus V5 triggers.

This is what I purchased, only work in Manual mode though.
Also works as a wireless trigger.

Took my new camera out for the first time since I bought it and I really enjoy using it. This picture is taken with my new 70-200/2.8 IS Ver.2 and that combo is superb!
I'm loving the 70-200 on a full frame body! :)
