^The Sigma35 looks great. I was looking at the 35L, but I think I might just go with the Sigma35 after skimming through the lens thread for it. That is, when I decide to buy a new lens. Gonna have to live with what I have for a while. =)

I used to own a 60D and as far as i remember, i can set different settings on video and stills.

For example in stills, I can have my ISO set to 400 Aperture at F4 and shutterspeed at 1/200sec.

while in Video, i can set it to Auto ISO F1.8 and a shutterspeed of 1/60sec

I can easily jump vice versa to stills and videos without changing any settings.

In my 5D Mark III, whatever i set in stills will be carried over to my video when i switch. For me this is annoying.

Am I missing something? Please share your thoughts on this. Thanks.

Vinz, I've also noticed this with my switch from the 550 to the MkIII. In my case, though, I prefer the way the MkIII works in that when I switch to video (lets say I want to take a video of the same thing I've just photographed), I can just carry on filming. I don't have to hunt for the optimal video set-up first. Just my thoughts...
