I've got two images composited together. One is taken with the 5DIII and the other with a 550D. Both ISO1600, hh, sooc, @ f5.6 same lens. (I did reduce the C censor image size to line up with the FF image.) Cropped to 100%. My question is, is this the result that you guys would expect? ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us Any opinions on this? I'm really curious. Sorry. I was just surprised to see (almost) no difference between the two cameras. Both are straight out of camera - untouched. My mission with this is to find out if anybody else was expecting to see a substantial improvement from the 5D compared to the 550D. I was! 5D MK III | 550D | Canon 50mm f/1.8 II | Canon 24-105 f/4 IS USM | Canon 70 - 200 f/4 IS USM | 580EX II | 430EX II

What does this mean? Must I take the 5D in for inspection? or is the 550D just THAT good? I know in low light there is no comparison! Thanks! Ah, gotcha. Both are plenty capable cameras. Shane
