Here's a selection of shots from a recent trip to Indonesia (hard to choose just 8 of them!). Feedback welcome!

I lived in Indonesia for a couple years in the early 70s and was back for a month in 2002. What a beautiful country.

Were the sulfur mining shots taken at Bromo?

I appreciate you taking the time to try and select just 8 photographs. The country is so diverse. I'm sure it wasn't an easy task.

On an other note: did you enjoy the variety of fresh fruits while you were there? That is one of the things I miss the most. That and the cuisine.

That was actually Ijen.

The fruits were great but apparently it wasn't pineapple season: big disappointment. I did discover salak though, I liked those a lot :).

My mom cooks a pretty good nasi goreng (she's from Singapore) so I'm set on that front :p.
