Jul 25, 2012 03:11 | #1 I thought the repetition of yellows was interesting, with the statue looking in the direction of the girl walking down the stairs. What I still can't figure out is whether I should have focused on her instead, or even tried to have everything in focus. Thoughts? Fuji X-T4, 18-55 and 55-200 zooms, Samyang 12

olafsosh I am a nice and fluffy dude More info | Jul 25, 2012 03:46 | #3 You're right there - you should focused on the girl and let the statues be the complimenting yellow blurs. Also, due to a busy background, it's really difficult to see and figure out those statues anyways. - Olafs Osh

I think one general rule is if you have someone moving in the frame, it is better to position them so they are moving into the frame, versus out of it as you have.
