macvisual,

The EF-M is designed specifically for the Canon EOS M mirrorless camera. It will not work on your 5d, unfortunately.

So uhh, even with the recent price drops, it seems nobody is using this combo? It's about the same price as a "high end" point and shoot (~470 euros with 22mm and 90EX). And better deals are usually available.
I'm contemplating picking one up, but there's surprisingly little shots out there, let alone controlled comparisons with Sony NEX / m43 lenses.

I suspect that most people are posting in the EOS M thread simply due to the fact that no one is rushing to buy a 22mm lens in a mount that has exactly one camera body.

The 22mm is excellent. It's actually one of my favorite lenses right now period, I really hope Canon make some more "cheap" primes for EF mount like the 22mm and 40mm pancake because both are extremely good and very affordable

Given the recent price reduction of the EOS M, I expect this thread to pick up dramatically.

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. :)

For $299 I'd pick one up today, but unfortunately we don't have that version nor that price around here...

This is an 80+ % crop of an image I shot this weekend with the EOS-M and 22mm. (Reduced in size to fit here.) This tree frog is about a half inch in length.
