Ok, so I've encountered a problem. When I was using LR4, I tried to edit a photo in CS5. It does not work. Before the upgrade, I would have no problem trying to edit in CS5 from LR4. Anyone else with this problem?

Sorry, No problems here.

The only issue I've had is with one of the LR plugins; John Beady's Search&Replace plugin.

He has changed the name of the plugin from "BeardyReplace.lrplugin" to "findreplace.lrplugin".

Therefore, just delete the old plugin and add the new one.

My wisdom is learned from the experience of others.

It actually works now, but takes very very long time. When I try to do external edit in CS5 from LR4, beachball (cursor) would spin for quite a while before opening in CS5. Just wondering if this is normal.

Try repairing disk permissions with Disk Utility.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

I did the disk repair permissions with Disk Utility, and yes I did reinstall CS5. I even reset SMC and PRAM. :(

I asked this over at FM too, but wanted to know if anyone here is experiencing similar symptoms. I put my imac to sleep and when I try to wake by pressing the enter key, it won't wake. I'd have to push the power button to wake from sleep and even takes a few seconds for my mouse start moving.

What did Apple say via their support site?

You might try a dedicated Mac site such as MacForums.

Okay I'm officially gonna flip OUT.

I don't expect anyone to have the answer here...just need to VENT.

Twice now I've taken a screen shot of my Amazon invoice showing it pas paid for, and my shipping address. And twice now its come back to me denied for "receipt does not show proof item was paid for and received"

AAGGHHHHH I refuse to pay when I shouldn't have to and I know if I somehow get Apple on the phone they won't be any help.

Okay thanks I'm better now (I'm not) grrrrrrr eff-this

It probably would help if you could speak to somebody at Apple

Yes the problem has its own thread on Apple support forum. There are few others who are experiencing this issue, but no solution yet. I thought someone here might have had a solution..

still no joy for me :( sent an email with several attachments to customer support with my request number, as they say in 'game of thrones': "gods be good, the outcome will outweigh the effort"

really disappointed in apple the last few days, i shouldn't have to work this hard to prove to them I purchased their mountain-lion free-upgrade-eligible product....they should be coming to me. and convincing me to upgrade for free.
