My friend has a T2I and is trying to use 70-300 lens. Each time he takes a picture, he gets a "clean contact" message and has to turn the camera off and then back on to take another picture. Any ideas as to how to take care of this problem? Thanks!

They should be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, allowed to dry and then make sure the lens is mounted properly and fully rotated until clicking into its seat.
