Now that's awesome.
Actually now that I think of it I can't say that I am actively launching anything. I started this major remodel project on my house about 3 years ago and haven't really touched my rockets since. I got back into photography 2 years ago because I wanted something I could do in the few spare hours I have every now and then. The rockets I was building were level 2 and level 3 and required an FAA waiver to fly and a really big freaking area to do it and that just takes too much time.
So sadly I haven't had any crossover between my photography and rocketry but that will change next spring as I expect the remodel work to be complete this fall. :-)
Once her kitchen is done I "can do anything I want". lol
All of my good rockets are in my garage attic and I didn't own a digital camera until after I put them up but I think I'm gonna get them out and shoot some pics soon. I probably should for insurance purposes but I never really thought about it until now.
I do have two pics that I took with my wife's P&S several years ago so I could send them to Estes and see about getting some parts to complete them. Here they are.

Oh, found one more. Pic was taken with a cell phone to sell this one on ebay. I had to enlarge it because it was only 300x400

My dad had one when I was a kid. Bet you wish you still had yours:

Oh man. Really? I must have been about 10 years old when I got mine. I had trouble building it and the corner drug store dude helped me with it. I gave it to him, he finished it and I painted it. It was the good old corner store where it had a pharmacy, a deli, a hardware store complete with a tube testing machine. I remember my dad taking TV tubes there to test them.

I got the engines and tried to fly it about 25 years ago but it did not fire. I even built a launch tower to look like the NASA one (or as close to it as I could) out of coat hangers which I cut and soldered. Just goes to show - never throw the old stuff out. It was my wife's fault. She also made me get rid of my perfectly good stereo stand constructed out of cinder blocs and plywood :D

We had A drugstore like that too. Everything seemed so innocent.

Thank you. bw!
