First Rufous Hummer and a swallow

finally visited an area that has Rufous Hummingbirds - set up for a short shoot at a friends house - if I had more time I would have gotten some shots in flowers but you take what you get - a plus was the swallow feeding its baby in the bird house - hope you enjoy

first let me say spectacular hummer image. second,, not to not pic but i'm pretty sure thats an "allens"

rufus doesn't have that much green on his back.

Very nice set Marcy. Interesting feet alignment, I usually see them aligned together, not crossed like this, that's like walking in the air :)
