Hi..I was photographing some insects in our garden today and took some shots of this very tiny fly. I looked in an Audubon guide but could not find anything like it other than a Walnut Husk Fly...the wing pattern seems way off though.. It was photgraohed in eastern Ontario Canada so I expect it is also found in the North Eastern USA. It did a little dance with one wing extended and then would switch to the other. It almost became a meal and in the last shot you can get an idea of its size compared to a Jagged Ambush Bug. Any help in identifying it would be appreciated.
extending wing and would then extend the other...several times, ritual like..

) First time I have seen a Picture Wing and hope to repeat the experience....and thanks also to everyone who looked and commented
