An effect I am playing with for our forthcoming War & Peace Show DVD. The intention is to show the work of several arena photographers.

Love the faux 3d-like effect. is it just layersbeing moved at slightly different speeds? in any case, good work!

It is 3 layers but you have to shrink the bottom layers, or clone them across, as othwise you get a hole in the lower image as the top image moves. I used 3DS Max but it can be done with any software that allows for a 3D environment.

It would be fiddley but could even be done in your editing software using 3 time lines. If you save the images as 24 bit png files Vegas sees the clear bits as transparent so you don't have to chroma key them.
