I'm headed home from the Middle East on R&R pretty soon and have some reservation in Yosemite National Park. It's a photo and hiking trip for me. Weight of the lens isn't too big of an issue.

I was considering renting some lenses while I was home for my trip. I see that I can also check out the 5D Mark III for a very affordable price for 7 days.

The 5D Mark III will only work with a couple of my lenses that I own. The 100-400L and the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8.

I might want to get one more additional wide lens to go with the 5D Mark III. Here is where the choices start.

Keep in mind I expect to also utilize my 10-22MM and the 17-55MM at my full disposal on the 7D. I would like to use a variety of focal lengths and and lenses during the trip.

I may rent one of the following: 24-70MM f/2.8 Mark I, 24-105 f/4.0 or the 16-35MM f/2.8 or the 17-40 f/4. Cost will be about the same to rent any of these. And their might be other lenses I haven't even thought of.

I expect to be doing quite a few outdoor shots in good light. Landscapes, waterfalls etc.

Decision time! Any ideas?

24mm TS-E is something to consider. Always wanted to try it.
