Sorry to hear about the P Mode. Would love to see some though.

Don't be.. It got me some decent shots for me in a situation where i was way out of my depth doing something i did'nt want to do and i dought i'll do it again..

Luckily the Vicar was really helpful and relaxed me somewhat.

I'll do a post in the next few days although you guy's will rip them to shreds, I already have.
Feet missing, arms chopped off, wanderers in the background, blown out bits and much more but what the heck I did it and out of 500 shots or so I'm sure I can give them some good memories.

Thanks again Phil

Don't be too hard on yourself. You are not a pro, you warned your friend and tried to talk them out of it. They didn't pay for it so any photos they get is really a bonus.

Also bear in mind that most people are nowhere near as critical about photographs as other photographers. I've seen some 'portfolio' work of wedding photographers on facebook which make me want to rip my own eyes out yet others have commented postively about it.

Cheers Gadgeteer,

I got my own wedding album out from 22 yrs ago, we paid good money for a pro to do them but i can find fault with most of them now. Still love them though.

Well, the good thing is that you know what you did wrong. That's always a great start because you know what to do (and what not to do) the next time. This will only make you better.

I tried something new and way out of my comfort zone last night it involved a lot of setup and me laying on my back on the ground. I am not 100% happy with it but I know exactly what I need to do next time.

I'm not going to ask what you were doing laying on your back;) but practice makes perfect!!

I look at the first wedding I ever shot (with film in 2001) and back then I thought they were perfect... Now I don't think I'd put a single one in my portfolio. They're THAT bad...
