B&H and Costco each sell the Manfrotto MK294 tripod:

B&H: $127.50 including 804RC2 pan tilt head.
Costco: $149 with unspecified head plus deluxe tripod bag.

Anyone know if these are the same model? Only difference the bag?

B&H also has the ball head version for the same price.

B and H. AVOID costco for this one. Have it now and i'm returning it since I got it cheaper at my work without the bag. The tripod bag is worthless since the tripod will not even fit in it. Costcos description is way off. They state that it will fit the tripod with head and handles in the bag... but look closely at the specs. Tripod closed length 28.3" Tripod bag will hold up to 27" tripod. The handles keep it from fitting as well as the length. I still have it since I have not been to Costco to return it. I can show you pictures if you would like.

I had contacted Manfrotto directly about this and they confirmed that costco was wrong and that the tripod had to be disassembled to actually fit in the bag.

Thanks, B&H it is then.

Strange that Manfrotto would supply Costco a bag that doesn't fit the tripod. I bought a Manfrotto camera bag through Costco before, only to find Manfrotto mislabeled the product, so it was actually a smaller bag than Costco advertised. After calling Costco customer service, was told Manfrotto would not respond to Costco's inquiry.

Ya... it is really frustrating. Costco sure describes it as fitting the tripod with the handles and head attached..... I tried writing a review saying that costco has an incorrect listing and the bag does not fit. They refused to publish my review....
