I just got this used for $400. Has anyone used it ?? Looking for something similar to 24 L that's not as much.

I have this lens, and have been pleased with it. It does seem to be a "love it" or "hate it" lens - not alot of middle ground.

What will you be using it for?

Had it before. It's more of 20mm f2.5 for me since f1.8 is quite soft.
Read that the sigma 24mm 1.8 is better.

Be prepared : it's huge . AF is slow and noisy.

I love mine.

It is quite sharp (in the center) at 1.8. I don’t care much about sharpness in corners on a wide angle. Open wide, that is.
