Was poking around at lunch looking for shots to take. Saw this guy/gal crawling around. About 6mm long (~1/4"). Anyone recognize it?

Looks like some kind of ladybird larva (Coccinellidae).

Cool, thanks for the identification guys! Certainly looks like it to me, now that I know what to Google for.

I also find the fibers of the wood railing to be quite interesting this close up...

Cool looking larva. I never see this type in my area. Much more interesting that the ones I find.
