Ok so here's the thing, i have shot a panorama, 5 images in total and all Canon CR2 file's.

I have created the panorama using PTGui, its now asking me to save it as one of the following files.

JPEG
TIFF
Photoshop (.psd)

Now my usual work flow is uploaded to the pc, run through lightroom then CS3, what im wanting to go here is save this panorama then make some adjustments via CS3 or if possible lightroom, without losing detail.

JPEG, would be no use for this, what should i be saving it as? TIFF or .Psd?

Thanks in advance :)

Also should it be 8 or 16bit? I really should just try either one :)

Psd and tif are essentially the same, with small differences in compressing, for instance. Generally, psds are a bit smaller.

16 bit if you are using a very wide color space or are doing major tonal and/or color shifts; 8 bit for everythig else.

I usually go with Tiff because some image viewers have problems with psd files.
