Welcome to POTN! Interesting shot, can you describe any processing you have done? Very good focus and DOF, in fact most of the technical aspects are right on, in my opinion.

Thanks.
I don't remember the exact numbers I used as I was tired when I made the conversion and was tinkering around with it before bed.

I took the shot with 300D and 24mm lens. The original image I had done can be located at the following link: http://www.slitherjef.com/images2/redleaf.jpg (external link)

I took that image since I had already did a high pass sharpen, cropped and a few other minor adjustments and decided to just run it through the channel mixer with my "standard" settings of 25,35,40 then I added a new layer, made a ugly brownish yellow and filled the new layer with it. I believe I set the opacity to around 50% (may have been less) and the blend mode to something that looked good. To be honest Im not sure which mode I used. Thats about it :)

Nice shot Jeff, the B&W treatment works well with this image. :D
Did anybody else notice that this leaf is Heart shaped? ;)
Oh, and WELCOME to the forum! :D
