I'm planning on shooting a few time lapse sessions when the weather clears up of the stars out here in Alberta. How long on average can i expect my T3i / 600D to snap exposures of around 20's, ISO 1600 for? Any tips on extending the battery life? Or any tips on timelapse in general?

I've done 1 timelapse movie before with my sx40 but that was during the day so i didn't really have to worry about the "flickering'' too much. Thanks!

Damo

Get an aftermarket grip. They can hold two batteries. Or get the a/c adapter.

Canon T6s (battery grip) | Canon T4i (aftermarket battery grip) | Canon T2i | Canon EF-S 18-55 IS | Canon EF-S 55 - 250 | Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 | Canon EF-S 10-22mm | Canon EF 100mm f2.8L Macro | Canon 40mm
