I normally use the EOS utility to import my photos. For what ever reason and not sure if it is related to the 10.8 install of iOS it auto closes when connected to a camera. When the camera is connected the EOS tool closes and wont open. I cant decipher the code on why it crashes.

I have restarted and reinstalled the app with no luck. I can import via light room, aperture, etc.. I rather use the EOS tool. Any suggestions?

Any help would be great

Have you checked your preferences?

Yep everything is as should be. I am hearing it might be a 10.8 issue so I will just use light room import them.

The only thing I can think of to check: have your camera off and EOS Utility closed when you plug the camera in. Then, turn on the camera, and then start EOS Utility. See if that helps.

If not, well, I'm not a Mac user and so can't comment on the possible OS issue!
