time for something a little different. This is the main chip from a broken hand held device. the device itself got run over by a car.

I have got a few photos a chip that also been broken and I will post this in a few days time

BTW no post processing, apart from the water mark and the photo being resized.

DOF is rather thin. Good shot though.

thanks for the comments, the shot was taken at F2.8 with the 100mm macro lens. it had taken me a number of goes to find the right part of the chip to focus on. and it was just the way the light was hitting the rest of the area. Just made it more interesting.
