Be kind, this was the first photo with my new 100mm Macro. I think this is going to be fun.

beautiful shot, great detail, color and composition. love the contrast of the insect with the surroundings too. yes, i've found macro photography has opened a new world for me, i would have never considered taking it up without having seen the great shots some of the experts post here.

I have no clue. I need to get a book so I can look insects up now. Bird photography got me looking up birds, now insects. I see a new library starting as well.;)
