A minimalistic exploration of le centre-ville de Montreal

I've always been fascinated by light , shadows , lines , contrast and geometry in the minimalistic context . This set of photos explores the bits and pieces of Downtown Montreal that caught my attention . The set as a whole shows the artsy little details that make the beauty of the whole area , probably bits and pieces that we never notice in our daily lives .

I like the first 5 a lot because of the combination of textures and shadows, but 6-8 I find less appealing due to the lack of patterned shadows.

I can say they're boring, yet again they're so simple that I like them. I like the vertical wall shot.
