What are your CnF settings and why. Or, what do you recommend? And Picture Style. I think I chose Neutral or Faithful since I shoot RAW.

There are twelve in total from ISO expansion, Exposure level increments, mirror lock up etc. If you still have your manual, check page 190 on the UK version anyway, or in the section Setting Custom Functions. As for Picture style I prefer Standard. It's not what you do, it's how you present it!

apersson850 Cream of the Crop More info | Take a RAW image, upload to your computer and play with applying different picture styles using Digital Photo Professional. That's easier than doing it in the camera. Anders

Jul 31, 2012 16:11 | #6 I thank each of you for your suggestions/advice. Going from the G12 to the T21 is a big step. I have never had to deal with any choice over f8 and now I am faced with a whole range of f stops. meThinks it is time to reread "Understanding Exposure" again. Any suggestions on other good books? I have seen David Busch's name mentioned several times. Again, I thank each of you. G3, G6, G12, T2i + kit lens & accoutrements
