3-4 weeks.. It was slow, I think there was a holiday for them in there.

:( Damn! I wanted to buy 3 units and it was cheaper from them (~$120), but I need it in 3 weeks. It's my fault for procrastinating   I'll just have to pay more and go through Amazon instead. Thanks!

They take forever. I ordered mine from Amazon.ca with/Big Bokeh Photo here in Ontario, took less than a week. Excellent service.

For those who ordered from The Photo Gadget (external link), how long did it take to receive your order??

I have ordered multiple items. I would say the shipping varies from 18 to 21 days to Southern California. The shipments were right before Christmas, and right after the Chinese New Year.

Regards,

Mine I ordered on Dec 21st (Friday), and they arrived on 24th (Monday), with the cheapest shipping option. I live in Seattle, not sure if it makes difference.

Amazon, but sold by eWonder.

I want to be able to trigger 2 flashes remotely - so I'll need two receivers and one transceiver. Is there a package that comes like this, or do I just buy the pair and then the one separately?

Thanks

They come in pairs and each unit is a transceiver.

The Photo Gadget is a great shop but shipping across an ocean does take forever.

If you need them quick I'd just jump onto amazon and order from a place that saws "fulfilled by amazon". You'll get Amazon's CS and should have the order in a week or less

Ask your chosen supplier for three units.

I need some advice in regards to these triggers please! They work great with my canon 580ex ii but intermittently with my alien bees! I'm using the younguo sync cord but can't figure out heat the problem is other than I'm accidentally hitting a button during a shoot. I use four of them in my studio and it never fails that I have an issue where they won't trigger the bees and I pull out my old 602s which work flawlessly. I do get a higher sync speed out of my 5d mark iii with the 622s but I keep having triggering issues with them which is annoying a d somewhat embarrassing during a live shoot. Any advice would be appreciated, please.

Ordered my second pair end of last month, arrived yesterday, gutted :( to find that the focus assist on one of them does not work, so back they go to china, but will be a month again before I get my hands on a working set.

That's rough. You probably know these, but just in case it saves a return trip, the AF-assist beam doesn't fire when:
> 622 is a remote receiver
> Camera in Live mode
> Camera in Face detection mode
> The individual 622's C.Fn for AF-assist is Disabled. (Place each on the camera and check setting using camera menu.)

Clive

I read your guide after doing my post, so I am going to try a factory reset when I get home tonight incase something has been turned off some where.

All I did was unpact, load batteries, test with OCF, swapping over on camera and remote, one had the focus assist working the other didn't. Put my original 622's on and no problems with either unit, so that elimated the camera and the flash, so it is definatly the individual unit thats not working.

Will update after factory reset tonight, and check on point 4 of your advice above, fingers crossed.

I love these triggers ...

Just bought 4 more (£110 inc p+p) and they arrived yesterday from Asmarteam (HK) ... ordered from the Bay ... they only took 4 days to come  ... and I'm in the UK ... maybe they were posted in the UK as the return address is Slough SL3 0DF ... may grab my YN-568EX from them if they're that fast ...

All 4 triggers working fine (so far) ... the first thing I do is factory reset them ... then do simple tests, in their packaged pairs, for ETTL throughput with flash on camera and making sure the signals go through to the flash ... then test with OC flash, checking ETTL signals ... then test them ALL together by channels, etc ... (see Extra Side Note below) ...

I bought mine from here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk …_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 (external link)

Extra Side Note:
I bought my 1st pair for £53 (inc p+p) (BIN) a few weeks ago ... one worked fine and one wouldn't recieve ETTL ... I took a gamble and stripped it down ... (watch out for the 5 mini springs on the hotshoe connections) ... I unplugged the lot from the circuit board and then re-connected/reseated everything back in place ... put the springs back and screwed it all together, they are quite easy to take apart :) ... and Bob's your uncle it worked ... ETTL is now fine on both ... very pleased ... must've got shaken up in transit ...

Another thing, if you need to keep them safe ... I ordered a few of these glasses cases (16 of them for £6.60) ... the triggers fit in there a peach with a bit of space at the top ... for this price they're worth it ... nice cases with draw strings ...

Glasses Cases:

cheers,
Gem
:)

Can anyone tell me the proper procedure or where in Clives manual its states the proper setup to use these with alien bees? Thanks. Like I stated in my last post, I can't get them to consistently work with the bees. I am using the younguo sync cords too.
