Hi all,

I'm fairly new to all this and am still finding my way. I use a Canon 7D and have just purchased a Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM Lens. I was hoping to get some help with what settings would be best for shooting an outside wedding. I'm still trying to get my head around the C1, C2, C3 settings so have been mostly using the AV setting. Any advice you guys can give me would be great!

Thanks

C1, C2, and C3 are not settings, they are places to save your current camera settings for quick recall. Someone may set it up so that C1 is good for low light, C2 for portraits, and C3 for action, for example.

Are you the primary photographer? Will the entire event be outside?

You might want to spend some time in Teamspeeds excellent FAQ on the 7D...

https://photography-on-the.net …t=768556&highlight=7d+faq

here is an excellent thread...about 5 or 6 posts into it are links to the videos B&H has on the 7D

https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=986211

there is a lot more, but these are good starting points that I think will help you out.
