i dont remember what thread it was brought up but i spoke with a Marine Corp combat correspondent at the National Rifle Matches in Ohio today...

he was shooting with a 5DII and a 28-300 f/3.5-5.6L IS USM

he said the Marines are using Canon while the Air Force and Navy were still using Nikons. he added that the Navy will be switching over to the Canons probably by next year but he didnt know what the Air Force was planning to do...

he had no what the Army was using...

Yeah, they had Marine Week about 6 weeks ago here in Cleveland. One of their booths was the technology section, and they had a table full of Canon bodies and lenses. I spoke with one of the officers there and he said they shoot using Canon.

I thought the same thing! I never had camo PJ's when I was in the Army. I was hoping to find where to get some.
