First moon try. Moon was large and in charge tonight! Took about 10 shots and this was the best of the lot. Shot with 70-200 f4. 100% crop

nice! I did the same thing tonight actually, looks pretty similar :lol:

did you use live view? What settings did you use? I found that it was super sharp around f/11. IS helped me focus in 10x live view while using the DOF preview to find which aperture was the sharpest.

also a 100% crop on 7d

your looks a lot better, than mine. I didn't use live view. Ill go back out and see what I can do. Ill post another in a few

Hey gen2roller, thanks. f/11 worked great. Didn't think of using live view the first tome, but can definitely find a better focus using it. Also can see the wind blowing my $20 tripod around too. Thanks for showing me I need to get a new one :) 2nd bunch turned out better.
