I would soften the lines under her eyes a bit. The glasses are drawing a lot of attention to her wrinkles, and they're not very flattering. Also, do you have a shot of her with a better smile? It looks as though she's making a clicking noise out of one side of her mouth. You'll probably also want to clean up the bits of white lint catching light on her shoulder.

As for the lighting: it's maybe a bit hot on her right side and on her chest (that part is drawing too much attention), but you can probably improve it in post. Ditto for the curtain in the lower left corner: it's too bright there.

Much improved! The skin tones look quite natural to me. I think you nailed that part.

How did you positioned the flash? I would use it at 45 degree shoot through umbrella or softbox really close to her face or bounce from ceiling to add more contrast to her face and skin. The background is not working for me. I would prefer a white background so the photo can looks more formal. Just my opinion :P

Phrasikleia know's his stuff though :D

I think you should brighten her teeth just a bit, liquefy her arm to narrow it, and next time lift the glasses so we can see all of her eyes.

Thanks all for the comments. I used 3 lights. 1 soft box close to her right side of face. Umbrella 45 degree to left of her an a flash to light the back. My photoshop skills are not the best so whitening teeth and making arms skinny is difficult for me lol! I can move the glasses next time thi, I did notice that after. Cheers all :)

Since you have editing on I did a quick liquify, brighten teeth & eyes & soften around lower eyes.

According to my crappy laptop monitor this looks acceptable. Maybe you can recover some highlights on her face but you get the idea :D

Just to show you that you can fix it if that's the only shot you have for her.

What a beautiful smile she has!!!
