Chicago River Viewpoint

Last weekend I spent some time wandering around around the Chicago River and came up with a few decent shots. Here are two HDR's that I thought came out pretty well.

Like both of them, but the second is my avorite

I like #2, it has a nice composition. It looks very calm (kind of like a deserted city? No people except on the boat!).

Unfortunately the HDR doesn't work in either version. There are very obvious halos around the buildings (it's worse in #1) where the sky looks like it's a different color, as if the buildings are glowing. Also, it looks like the building are all leaning to the side in #1...easily fixed by straightening the horizon.

Nice, just watch out for the ghosting around the buildings in the first photo.
