Well, I posted three in the 'Senior' thread, but I have too many others that I like, and I can embed 8 instead of 3 here..
Anyways, I did a senior shoot with my cousin Katie this past weekend; We had a lot of fun, and I think they came out fairly good!

Please Let me know what you think!

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

you really need to soften your flash. they could all use some processing.

3,5,7 are the best

I hate giving my opinion on pictures unless its just saying they are good. But i'm going to be honest and I hope you take it as constructive rather than feel offended. The flash is way too harsh and needs to be diffused. Some of the pictures she looks uncomfortable, especially #1. Her teeth look really yellow and could use some processing to fix them. With some of the lighting I think a reflector may have helped out a lot. Even using the center of a 5 in 1 reflector to try and block out/diffuse some of the harsh sun would have looked nice in #6.

My suggestion: Get some sort of diffuser (beauty dish, soft box, umbrella etc.), Get a 5 in 1 reflector, and maybe some CTO gels for your flash. The CTO gels really come in handy outdoors.

Out of all of them #3 is my favorite. Only problem with that one is the shadows on the face. Looks like the sun was just off to the right of her and it was also causing her to squint. I suggest facing her away from the sun and see how that turns out for you.

I would think twice about giving these to her so it does not cause her to be self conscious about the color of her teeth.

You did really well on the composition/posing of the subject on these!

I like the one in the cowboy hat.

A few of them suffer from on axis flash, with is okay for fill, but hard to pull of as key.

Thanks for the suggestions, everybody. She's already seen them, and loved them, but I am in the process of trying your suggestions!
I agree, the flash is a bit harsh, and I'll try to tone them down.
Thanks for the input! :)

Never shoot a flash straight up at a subjects face.....unless you're trying to go for the flashlight under the chin scary look.

- Calibrate your monitor, the colors are off. I don't know if her teeth are that yellow, or if your white balance is wayyyy off.
