Hi all,
I am about to embark on a trip to the Philippines and have my mind set on doing some hiking, being of the beaten path etc. I just cant get my bag narrowed down.
I intend to do Landscapes, portraits and perhaps some food.
wondering what you would drop from this list to make your back ache less.
5 D mark II
16-35 F2.8
50 MM F1.4
70-200 F2.8
430 EXII flash with 1 set of wireless triggers and 1 ettl cord
1 angle viewer
2 batteries for cam, 2 chargers for cam
CPL and ND filter for 50 MM
step up/down rings
Cokin filter set for WA lens with 2 ND Grad Filters
ND 8 , ND 500 and circ polarizor for WA Lens
canon remote with intervalometer (star trails etc)
cable to connect laptop
5 memory cards
8 a4 papers with guides, charts etc that i use
1 very sturdy tripod with pistol grip
1 umbrella no stand as i bring my VALS
anything from this that sounds useless, too much, a burden rather than a help?
i am worried that after 2-3 hours hiking through mountains at 33 degrees celsius i will feel i have a mammoth on my back.
Cheers
Marco
