Locust Treehopper (Thelia bimaculata)

Here is a male Locust Treehopper I spied, nope, not on a Locust Tree, but on one of my ornamental plants on our back deck. This is one specimen that stayed still long enough that I might've actually been able to use focus rails and try for a stack. That's next on my wish list:)
This was shot at ~X2 handheld with the MP-E 65 and diffused 580 EXII.

WOW!! Great shot and incredible find. On my adventures through my yard I rarely find anything with this much color. Would love to see an facial portrait of those eyes!

@Slackomatic-I was hoping for a face on shot, too, but I looked down at my camera to apply the mirror lock up and when I looked back up the little guy was gone:(
