Hi,
I'm seeing quite a number of Canon 24-105L on Craigslist for about $800 in the SF Bay area. It seems a lot of people got these lenses as part of a 5D III kit. Is this a pretty good deal?

LostViet408 wrote in post #14798852 saw one for $725 http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/pho/3176246564.html UT though. Some of the older ones can have problems with their apertures. 5d3,17-40,24-105,24 1.4,85 1.4,70-200 2.8 is ii

I'll be mindful of the aperture issues. aegid wrote in post #14799098 If you can get the people selling their kit ones to hand over a copy of the receipt from an authorized seller (info blacked out if they want) then that's what makes it come out on top over other options. Aug 01, 2012 17:02 | #11 Hi All, I've talk the guy down to $750 on the phone. I'll see him tonight at Starbucks. Now the only gotcha that I can think is that it comes in a "white box". He says its part of a 5D kit (which would be good) or it could be a refurb lens (not quite so good). So, is there something like red dot somewhere which indicates the lens is a refurb. Thanks.

Yeah I saw that post as well. 370k clicks... what a work horse, I would rather add another 500$ for a lesser clicks than that camera. That's just my opinion
