In your next attempt take care not to move closer to the subject when taking the second shot (or move away for that matter). thanks for the reply, much appreciated, as for the rotation aspect is this caused when i take the 2nd chip? as im not sure if i just move the camera a bit(30%)to the side and take the shot straight on or focus on the same spot ie one of the main shells 'horns'(this is the way i did it) or do i focus on the nearest object ie the fishing boat? as far as the verticle alignment the 'horn' on the shell is in line although the boat mast isnt ,is this the problem. as you can see i have much to learn thanks for your time
