1D3 shows 'Busy' with Canon 1.4 TC Mk2 on 70-200 2.8L Mk2

Happened a couple of times now. It takes a couple of power offs and TC / lens removals to then work without the busy status?.
Anyone had this?

You may have a bad contact on the TC or perhaps it's just dirty. Try cleaning the contacts on the coverter and in the camera and see if that helps.

I had that issue with an 1dll canon replaced the mount on the tcmk2.
