Question, Do most modern higher end DSLRs not already do this supposedly? isnt that a big point of having a color meter is that it can sort of tell "this is a person and this should be given more weight in the exposure because its likely the subject"?
Only reason i ask is that its Apple and we know how Apple is with its patents..
This has been happening in the compact camera world for at least the past 5 years. In fact, it's gotten advanced enough that the camera will switch modes based on seeing a person (face) in the frame, or even seeing a face
