Hi All, i'm New here
A few of my friends have asked me to do there wedding photos, I have regretfully turned down a few because of nerves etc (i don't want to ruin the big day with bad photos). But there is one wedding coming up (in June) that I will be taking photos for.

Photography has been a hobby of mine for a few years and I have been putting a few pictures on Flickr (URL below), which is where my friends saw my photos and got the idea to ask me. I am not a great photographer, I am self taught, as a result my confidence at the moment isn't great.

Alas the time that I will be meeting the couple before the wedding and discussing events etc is fast approaching.

Does anyone have any advice for the big day? or what kind of things I need to ask them, when i meet with them soon?

I will be very greatful for any tips you have to share.

Thanks

First off, welcome to the forum. June 2013?
I would try to find a wedding photographer that would be willing to let you be a second shooter.

Agreed, Weddings are really hard work and your photography skills need to be second nature as you only have one chance. Don't risk a upsetting the bride and ruining your friend ship.

Find a good pro, and take some candids on the day that you can share with them. Enjoy their day with them.
