Why was he using live view? Looking through the VF would have been a no brainer that the lens cap was still on...

I usually can't understand why I can't choose various camera settings without something flashing. Then I realise about the lens cap!!! DOH!!!

I've gotten progressively faster at detecting when I have forgotten the lens cap on. I'm down to about a minute.
