Thats were the creativity comes in. I would recommend looking at the work of Ernst Haas, William Eggleston, Stephen Shore, the B&W work of Aaron Siskind (lines) and the street work of Henri Cartier Bresson. Those are great places to start for inspiration.


I'd also like to add...if you can't find something to photograph, then MAKE something to photograph.

That sure won't work in all cases, and often-times "making it" rather than "taking it" could even be a serious professional or ethical breach of conduct. But in this case, given the abstract parameters of the assignment...making that $*** seems like a viable option.
