The first looks to be a nicely done photo, but the processing didn't help it. Post the original, and I bet it didn't need alot of work? you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

Croasdail making stuff up More info | Aug 03, 2012 16:30 | #7 You are really pumping the contrast here. I would do what you feel is right at first pass, then back off just a bit. You are completely crushing your shadow detail, and I am not sure if it needs to be done so heavily.

JAmadoPhotography Junior Member 20 posts Joined Aug 2010 Location: Long Beach More info | I would use lightroom to bring out the skies on the beach a little more. Use the whites and highlighting sliders. Also, increase the clarity or adjust the temperature to create a sunset feel to the picture. Great pictures. CScottIV I should keep some things to myself! More info | Aug 03, 2012 18:17 | #9 I like the first one the best. Others have mentioned the halos. You may want to clone out the piece of trash in the lower right and turn the blue thing in the middle dark brown or desaturate it until it doesn't draw attention. Charles

After you are done editing a photo, go back and toggle your layers on/off to see if that layer is neccessary. Often times when editing, you want to add all these layers and different tones that take away from the photo, when all in all the least amount of editing looks the best. JoshTantPhotography.com
