This is driving me crazy! the option in the menu system to go into that stuff is grayed out. How do I get into that to save those settings? Is there something I have to do to enable that?
HELLLLLPPPPPPPP!
Thanks,
Brian

stsva Cream of the Crop More info | Aug 03, 2012 10:33 | #2 What's the mode dial set on when you're trying to do this? I suspect it needs to be on the setting (e.g., "M") from which you're "exporting" the settings you want to save under C1, etc., and that if you have it on C1, etc., it won't work. That's just a guess, but might be worth checking. Some Canon stuff and a little bit of Yongnuo.

Aug 03, 2012 10:58 | #3 Figured it out!!!! Apparently Canon has set up the camera so that if you have HDR active it will not let you set a Custom function! HDR is exactly what I wanted to be set and that is the one thing that will not save on the custom functions. As soon as you turn HDR off you can set the custom functions. Thanks Canon. That is idiotic. Website: http://www.landisphotographic.com

apersson850 Cream of the Crop More info | Correct. It says so on page 332 in the user's manual. For multiple exposure and HDR, only the settings, not the actual mode, is saved. Anders
