We all do this, but unfortunately this guy got caught on international TV. One of the reasons I don't use lenscaps when I am working events now, lol.

This was during the NBC broadcast of the London 2012 Olympics, mens gymnastics all around individual final. This was right after Kohei Uchimura got off of the high bar.

wow, that poor guy is getting roasted. I'm seeing threads all over the interwebs about this, at least 4 here alone. It's safe to say he won't live that down for a while.

I'm with you Fricks. This must have been the fourth one.

Oh wait it's 1080P :p just joking Will.

I guess this is one of those moments like you publish lots of great photos and no ones makes a peep. Make a 10 sec blunder and you're famous.

I think he handled it pretty good. :) The live view thing might be to get a better closer position. :) A bit hard to see but is it a 16-35mm?

Ahh we have all done that at some point haven't we? I say so what. Even if he was using the live view like a Point and shoot, who cares, he's there and we are here wishing we were. Give him a break.
